Women’s Resource Center

The Women’s Resource Center provides a diverse group of programs and resources at The Center. Discussion groups and social offerings for women range from literature to health issues, ballroom & Latin dance, to interviews of notable women from the community. The mission of the Women's Resource Center (WRC) is to create a safe space where LBT women and their allies will have access to important resources and referrals regarding health care, social services, and community activities. The WRC is a place for younger women, older women, women with kids and women with cancer, women of color and women of faith to strengthen and enhance their quality of life.

Each month, more than 150 women access support and resources through the WRC, which offers a diverse array of educational and social programs. The WRC also administers the Toni Atkins Lesbian Health Fund.

All events and groups take place at The Center unless otherwise noted. For more information on the Women's Resource Center or to volunteer, please contact the WRC coordinator at or 619.692.2077 x212. For information on upcoming events, visit the WRC Facebook page at
