Giving - Basic Facts

Leadership Circle members make a financial commitment of $1,500 or more each year to support and strengthen San Diego's LGBT community. This deep commitment is the backbone of The Center's funding and the fuel for emerging programs. Members receive many benefits designed to give an “inside” perspective of The Center's work to connect and empower LGBT San Diego.
Rather than one large check, some supporters prefer to make smaller, monthly gifts via their credit card or bank account. Monthly supporters make easy, secure gifts of any size they choose, helping to ensure a steady flow  of financial support for The Center's dozens of vital community programs.

Planned and estate gifts establish a legacy of support for the work The Center does. For more information on setting up an estate or planned gift, please contact Cara Dessert at

You can support The Center by providing professional services (printing, catering, floral arranging) or donating goods we might otherwise pay for (food for events, silent auction items, gift certificates). Contact us at

Many companies have programs that match the charitable contributions made by their employees. Through corporate matching, employees can double the impact of their gifts! Ask your employer about their matching gift policy and procedure.
The Center hosts several annual fundraising events, including Tantrums & Tiaras, Dining Out for Life®, The Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast, Pachanga de Frida (Happy Birthday Frida), Center Casino Night and AIDS Walk San Diego. Find out more at
