On the fourth Thursday in April, more than 100 restaurants and bars in San Diego will donate a minimum of 25% of their sales to raise $150,000 for The Center's HIV/AIDS services and prevention programs. Grab your family and friends and make plans to dine out for breakfast, lunch and dinner on April 25. Eat, drink and be caring!

Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast

In the tradition of the Martin Luther King All People’s Breakfast and the Cesar E. Chavez Commemorative Breakfast, the Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast brings together all San Diegans who support equality and justice in celebration of his memory. More than 900 attendees gathered in 2009 and 2010 at our first and second event, including every current and former LGBT elected official from San Diego County, other local and statewide elected officials, and community leaders from all facets of San Diego’s diverse population.  San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders and his daughter Lisa served as Masters of Ceremonies.

Happy Birthday Frida

This event celebrates three of the great loves of Frida Kahlo’s life: Art, Music and Tequila!  We honor the Anniversary of Frida Kahlo’s birthday and feature a live salsa band, Mariachis, an art exhibit of Latino artists and vendors.

AIDS Walk & Run San Diego

AIDS Walk & Run San Diego is San Diego’s largest HIV/AIDS fundraiser in San Diego County. The annual event consists of a 5K (3.1-mile) AIDS Walk and a USA Track & Field certified 10K (6.2-mile) AIDS Run. The event features an AIDS Memorial Quilt display and a “Path of Remembrance” along with alter to honor the memories of loved ones lost to the disease.

Anniversary Gala

The premiere social event for San Diego’s LGBT community, the 37th Anniversary gala will be held at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in Downtown.  The evening features dinner, dancing, and a silent auction.  With 800 people attending this is a must see and do event.

Nightmare on Normal Street

Hillcrest’s annual Halloween block party and costume contest.  More than 2,000 community members gather to see and be seen on our community’s biggest event of the year.
