Tantrums &Tiaras: Battle of the Bar Queens is an event like no other. What can you expect to see? A high-quality spoof of beauty pageants, of course, complete with a "talent" showcase. Local companies sponsor contestants, none of whom have any experienec, as they compete to be crowned the next community Queen! In collaboration with Mo's Universe, you can expect an evening of wigs, glitter and hilarity, all for a great cause! Join the fun and cheer for your favorites.

Dining Out For Life®

On the fourth Thursday in April, more than 70 restaurants and bars in San Diego will donate a minimum of 25% of their sales for The Center's HIV/AIDS services and prevention programs. Grab your family and friends and make plans to dine out for breakfast, lunch and dinner in April. Eat, drink and be caring!

Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast

In the tradition of the Martin Luther King All People’s Breakfast and the Cesar E. Chavez Commemorative Breakfast, the Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast brings together all San Diegans who support equality and justice in celebration of his memory. The Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast brings together more than 1,000 diverse San Diegans, business, labor, Democrats, Republicans, all communities, all ages – in fact, all San Diegans who support equality and justice – to celebrate the memory of this influential civil rights activist and his spirit of coalition building.

Happy Birthday Frida

Each year we celebrate the birthday of Frida Kahlo, commemorating the legendary life of one of the most influential Mexican painters of the mid-twentieth century while enjoying live music, multiple art exhibits by local Latin@ artists and vendors, a Frida look-alike contest, great food and Tequila! Proceeds from this event benefit Latin@ Services at The Center. 

AIDS Walk & Run San Diego

AIDS Walk & Run San Diego is San Diego’s largest HIV/AIDS fundraiser in San Diego County. In September, individuals, teams, social clubs, local businesses, schools, universities, and faith organizations from all over San Diego will come together for AIDS Walk/Run. We gather to remember the many who were lost to AIDS and to raise vital funds to support all of the San Diegans living today with HIV disease. Please join us for San Diego’s largest fundraising event for HIV disease and be part of this incredible community experience!
