Giving - Basic Facts
The San Diego Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center, Inc., is the nation's second oldest and third largest LGBT community center. Functioning as the LGBT community's flagship organization, The Center is led by a 14-member board of directors, employs over 45 paid staff and utilizes more than 800 community volunteers to achieve its twin goals of promoting LGBT health and human rights. The Center provides direct program services to the many different facets of the LGBT community, including youth, seniors, families, LGBT Latino community members and their families, and those struggling with HIV. Last year The Center provided more than 61,000 service visits to San Diego community members, and through its events, activities and advocacy, touched the lives of thousands more.
The San Diego LGBT Community Center is a registered 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization. Donations are deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

The personal, contact information that you share with The Center is always treated with respect for your privacy and your wishes. The Center does not sell, lease, rent, or give donor contact information to any outside party. We use this information only to inform you of opportunities to participate in and/or support the mission and work of The Center.
Our annual report does publish the names of our supporters; however, you may choose to waive that benefit and give your gift anonymously, so that your name does not appear on that list. Contact information does not appear on any public donor list.
At any time you may request that your name or contact information be withheld or that you be removed from our files or that we mark your files “do not mail.” To do this, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org.
