On the last Thursday in April each year, thousands of San Diegans Dine Out to Fight AIDS. Dining Out for Life® is an international fundraising event involving the generous participation of restaurants throughout the country. Restaurants and bars across San Diego pledge to donate 25-100% of that day’s food and liquor sales to benefit HIV/AIDS services and prevention programs at The Center. Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast

The 2011 Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast was incredible! Attended by more than 1,000 people, businesses, groups and organizations, this San Diego event is the largest Harvey Milk celebration in the State of California. Thank you to all who sponsored and attended!
The 2012 Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012, at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel. Tables for the 2012 event will go on sale in January. Each year we celebrate the birthday of Frida Kahlo, commemorating the legendary life of one of the most influential Mexican painters of the mid-twentieth century while enjoying a live salsa band, traditional Mexican dance performance, multiple art exhibits by local Latin@ artists and vendors, a Frida look-a-like contest, great food and Tequila! AIDS Walk San Diego

More than a dozen different agencies — serving thousands of clients — rely on funds raised at the annual AIDS Walk to help provide essential prevention and care programs to thousands of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS. Through a unique funding partnership with the San Diego HIV Funding Collaborative, AIDS Walk San Diego is able to increase the impact of the dollars raised at the event. Funds from the Walk are combined with donations from other philanthropists and foundations to qualify for matching funds, which are distributed to local HIV/AIDS service providers.
