Annual Women's Night Nomination Form

Do you know a woman who deserves recognition for her work in the LBT community? Annual Women's Night is the only event in San Diego that celebrates the achievements of LBT women.

To submit a nomination, please complete the form provided below. Briefly explain in your answers the special contribution or efforts your Nominee has made that makes you believe she is the best candidate for the award in a specific category. You may return to this page multiple times to submit for all categories.

Nominations will be reviewed, and decisions will be announced Mid-February. Award recipients will be notified prior to the public announcement.

2009 Award Categories
Business
This award recognizes a woman who has made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of women in business or in the context of business through professional, community, civic, or volunteer efforts. (Need not be a female business owner)

Art/Theater
This award recognizes a woman who has made an outstanding contribution to the arts and/or Theater through professional, community, civic, or volunteer efforts.

Politics
This award recognizes a woman who has made an outstanding contribution to the LGBT community through political action. (Need not be an elected official.)

Science/Medicine/Health & Social Service
This award recognizes a woman who has made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of women in, or generally in the context of improving women’s lives, in the fields of social service, science, medicine or health.

Education
This award recognizes a woman who has made an outstanding contribution to education for the LGBT community through professional, community, civic, or volunteer efforts. (Need not be a teacher or professor.)

Philanthropy
This award recognizes a woman who has made significant philanthropic contributions or efforts in the LGBT community. (Includes women who have donated and/or raised significant funds.)

Woman of the Year
The Woman of the Year award is given to a LGB woman that has made an overall significant contribution to the advancement of LBT women in San Diego during her lifetime.
